Barbara K. Gannon, Psy.D., has designed and delivered education and training programs domestically and internationally in the transportation, government, healthcare and technology industries for more than 25 years. As a former transportation manager and experienced clinical psychologist, she brings to the classroom a unique perspective and appreciation for CTL students and the challenges they face.

Barbara began in the transit industry with the start-up of the Endless Mountains Transportation Authority, a five-county regional transit authority serving rural northeastern Pennsylvania. She also managed a bus division for the Port Authority of Allegheny County, where she was responsible for 240 vehicles and overseeing 493 operations and maintenance staff. She is an active member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA)

In 2004, Barbara served as principal investigator on a TCRP study to design a leadership development curriculum for senior executives in transit agencies and related firms. The curriculum was developed into an executive development course and is now offered three times per year through the Eno Foundation's Center for Transit Leadership.

Outside of her teaching schedule, Barbara provides group and individual consultation to senior leadership teams in transportation.

Barbara received her bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and her doctorate in psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in Boston, Massachusetts. She served as a member of the faculty on Northeastern University's National Transportation Management Seminars for five years and held a faculty appointment as a clinical instructor in psychology at the Harvard Medical School.
