Eno Foundation Selects Transportation Professionals to Serve on Executive Boards

The Eno Transportation Foundation today announced the appointments of its 2008 Class of its Board of Advisors. A full listing of its Board may be found at http://www.enotrans.com/WhoWeAreHome.htm.

Members of the Eno Board of Advisors are appointed to serve three year tenures of providing advice and counsel to the Eno Foundation's executive leadership, including its Board of Directors and president and chief executive officer. Consistent with Eno's multimodal perspective, they are selected from across industry and government, and possess extensive knowledge and expertise in surface, air and water based transportation policy, management, and operations.

"The Eno Foundation is excited to welcome such experienced and well suited professionals to guide us in advancing our transportation agenda," said Lillian C. Borrone, Chairman of Eno's Board of Directors. "During our drive to cultivate leadership and enhance the policy decisions that help shape America's transportation system, we and the transportation industry are fortunate to have the benefit of their counsel."

As part of their duties to the Foundation, the Eno Board of Advisors participate in policy and professional development activities and meet annually with the Board of Directors to review industry trends and advise the organization on its priorities.

Today's Board of Advisor announcement follows the recent reappointment of each member of the Eno Board of Directors. Eno's Board of Directors provide guidance and direction to Eno staff in anticipating transportation challenges and effectively addressing these challenges through programs and activities designed to provide transportation leadership and professional development.

"I look forward to working with this distinguished group of transportation professionals at a critical time for Eno and the greater transportation industry," said Dr. Stephen D. Van Beek, Eno President and Chief Executive Officer.
